“On my way, I fall in love got married and now we are cycling together from Alaska to Patagonia”
“Never go on trips with anyone you do not love.” – Ernest Hemingway
The above statements need no explanation.
As per the Newton’s law of motion, opposites always attract. The same happened in the love story of this couple; Demis, a never-fit-aspirant for society expectations who wanted to travel, and Nancy, a sure-planner of the future, till an incident changed her course of life.
Both met in November 2010 at the Puerto Vallarta airport, Mexico. Love at first sight for both, till DESTINY played a role in keeping them apart. They, however, did not stay incommunicado. Missing the flight to his native, Switzerland, his new plan was to hit the road by bicycle all through the way from the Caribbean Coast up to the Pacific.
That was in 2015. This time, however, DESTINY smiled upon him; he met once again the love of his life, Nancy; the bond became strong which led to marriage vows. At the present, the couple is merely interested in joy of travel, cycling around the world with meager resources, and arouse the passion of dreaming in others. They have covered 6950 km and destination to be reached is Patagonia via Alaska by cycling.
Before marriage, it was only Demis’s intention to share the images of Mother Earth’s beauty to all corners of the world. Now, even Nancy has also made HIS purpose, HER own.
